Helping Older Adults Stay Connected, Engaged, and Independent

Caring for my mother through Alzheimer's disease, combined with companion care and activities programming, inspired a meaningful second chapter focused on supporting older adults. I enjoy creating opportunities for connection and lifelong learning through companionship, engaging activities, and community involvement that help seniors remain active, connected, and engaged.

Experience Supporting Older Adults

  • Planning social, educational, and wellness programs for a 55+ active adult community

  • Leading activities and encouraging participation among assisted living residents

  • Providing companion care and transportation support through a home care agency

  • Visiting homebound older adults through the Center for Volunteer Caregiving

  • Supporting an individual through Alzheimer's disease while navigating healthcare and hospice services

  • Building relationships with seniors, families, caregivers, volunteers, and community partners
