Growing up in Syracuse, NY (often the #1 city for annual snowfall per year) and attending college in nearby Rochester, I was ready for a move to warmer, sunnier climates. In 1996, my then-future husband and I headed down to Tampa, Florida and spent ten years enjoying the Sunshine State. While there, I bid farewell to my maiden name (Benscoter) and married Duane Ryder III.
